Northern Regards on Instagram
Kate, you’re never far from my thoughts. But some days, you’re more present. I spotted this beautiful work opposite OUR Social Club today. It made me smile and think of you. XR U Ok? . It’s an issue very close to our hearts. Not just today, but everyday. . . It’s OK to NOT be ok....but know that you matter. Know that the world is a much better place with you in it. . . Tell your friends you love them. Ask them if they are ok. Be prepared for the answer to be no. Know that you don’t have to have the answers / solutions, just be there. To listen. To sit in the silence.Today marked 3 years since we lost our beloved Kate. . As I quietly sip “our Northern Regards” drink with candles flickering, can I ask you a favour.... . This week, Tell a friend that you love them. If you have a piece of Kate’s jewellery wear it with even more love and pride. Support a local maker. Discuss a big idea passionately. And most of all, cherish your family and the friends that become family. . It’s in doing acts like this that keeps Kate in our hearts. ❤️Today was our dear Kate’s birthday.... we miss you everyday Kate xxx . . @katecampbelldesigns @northernregards #katesmarket#doitfordolly #speakupevenifyourvoiceshakesTo be absent friends ❤️ May 2018 be a safe, happy and creative one.❤️❤️❤️ #Repost @northcotesocialclub ・・・ Remember to check in with your mates this festive season folks, we ain't all lucky enough to have a rockstar line-up of friends and family surrounding us and it can be a tough time of year for some! Most certainly the end of an era on High St! #Repost @highstnorthcote ・・・ This week we say farewell to John Antonello and his family who are set to close their fruit store in a few days. John opened his business in 1958 and worked alongside his family to sell fresh produce to the local community for 59 years - incredible! On behalf of the Northcote Business Association and some very caring locals we thank you for your contribution to our community and wish you all the best in the next chapter of your life.
